A total of 520 hand pumps (both small and
large) have been installed, providing
decentralized, easy access to groundwater
for thousands of households.
To serve entire villages and larger community clusters, 215 large water plants have been established, often powered by solar energy to ensure sustainability and low operational costs.
In areas where groundwater is brackish or contaminated, CDF has installed 36 Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants. These facilities provide purified, safe drinking water, protecting communities from waterborne diseases
Recognizing the importance of water for sanitation and religious practice, CDF has constructed 16 to 28 ablution places (Wudu Khanas) at mosques and community centers. Public water coolers are also installed to provide cool drinking water in shared spaces.
